69 Bee tailpanel blackout??

The area of body color that shows between the tailpanel and tail lamps. Everytime I walk by the back of my car I feel as though this area looks odd and should have some black paint. Can't seem to find any mention of it in the searches I have done. What are you guys that own lighter colored cars doing?

AFAIK they were not blacked out at the factory, mine's not a big deal with the Blue but I'd be doing yours if it was me...

..just pay back for you making me do my radiator support Joel !! LMAO !

Thanks guys, already *** deep into it. Foam brushing on some left over flat textured black from my steering column/dash. Won't be perfect, but surely won't stand out like the T5. I think you are correct that the factory did not black this area out Wayne, as I can't find a single reference to it.

It was blacked out for sure. Probably done when the radiator support blackout was done. Not pretty either. Below is what I do. I don't trust doing it freehand so I mask it off.

Thanks for confirming it was actually done from the factory Darrin. Really glad I did it now.
