A ’69 Charger Dash Frame is for sale.
In about ’87, or so, I went to an auto salvage in Tulsa to find a tach/clock for my ’68 Charger. They had one but I had to purchase the entire cluster (see listing http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/69-charger-speedometer-instrument-cluster.119038/ for that).
While I was there, I found the car it came out of, and vehicle was mostly stripped and appeared to be ready to be crushed. The windshield was already removed – so it didn’t take me long to remove the frame.
Someone had turned a ’69 RR I recently purchased (then) into a race car and had cut the dash up. I was thinking this might work – so I grabbed the dash frame at same time.
Sense purchase, this part has been in my garage untouched for almost 30 years.
What you see is exactly how I bought it then, except for an extra layer of dust, cob webs and some bird droppings.
The only thing I see wrong with this frame is a metal bracket screwed onto back side (for radio?) and this small bend (in arrow below). It might be made that way – I don’t know.
The item has no rust through anywhere and a few areas of surface rust (should clean up nicely.
Item is located at my home in Oklahoma City.
I would like to get $90.00 (US) for this item – not counting freight, but willing to discuss price.
Not exactly sure how one would ship this item or costs involved to do so.
I prefer payment by PayPal (+ 3% for their cut), but am flexible (can take cash, MO, possible trade, etc.).
