69 Charger Dash Wiring Harness Question - Please Help

Hello Gents,

So my Charger restoration is going along well and I'm in the final stages.....however I'm having major gremlins in the dash. I believe the problem is in the wiring harness which is the original I got with the car and to be honest its a mess. I replaced all of the other wiring in the car with new sets I got from Evans wiring but I haven't been able to replace the dash harness yet. Can you guys help me answer the following questions:

1. I'd like to replace the dash harness, I can only find listings on classic industries and year one for "Dash harness, 1969 Plymouth and Dodge B-body models with oil gauge, reproduction" My question is, do these work with a Rallye Dash?

2. Any other suggestions where I can buy a "plug and play harness" for a 69 charger with rallye? I don't have the stomach to try and fix the old rats nest I have now.

I remember having trouble with the way it was listed for rallye dash too. It is on the shelf and not installed so I don't have any more info. Not cheap so most here wait for YO to have a sale.

There are 2 styles, one that says for use with oil light and one that says for use with oil guage. The one for oil gauge is for the rally dash. M&H is the only one who makes then as far as I know. Wait for a year one discount and you can get one for a decent price, if they have them that is. HU274B is the part # for the 69 rally dash harness at year one. Classic and mega parts also carry them but I think they get them through year one as they are the exclusive dealer for M&H harnesses.

One other thing to keep in mind. These are just the very basic harness and do not include any accessory wiring such as map light, key light, glove box light or console wiring. Any sub harnesses will need to be removed from your current harness and either repaired or made new as necessary.

I 've put 2 of the M&H harnesses in for friends. They are fantastic with fit & finish of them. Plug & play. Like blk 68 r/t said save or get the extensions for the accessory items.

dont know the price of a new one but premium dash decals will rebuild your to new condition n i think its around 425.00 us funds
