So back in Aug., I bought all the green tinted side glass through Year One and I got the pass. door glass and drivers quarter glass. I also ordered a windshield but that isn't my purpose here. I have been waiting for the other 2 pieces since, I've found out that AMD doesn't even have it on their radar to get back to making the glass after many problems with quality and now all the crap going on. I personally had to sand the pass. door glass to get the chrome trim to fit. I don't know how well the drivers quarter glass fits since I don't have a drivers door glass to seal up to it.

I am trying to see if anyone has the green tinted diver door glass and passenger door glass from AMD that is out of production they are willing to sell. I only ask because it would match what I already have and I can probably make it work. I know it doesn't have the original date codes but it is free of scratches.

Of course real clean tinted 69 glass, without scratches or gouges from bad belt molding would probably be nearly impossible to find but I would definitely be interested if someone has a set to sell from a victim of metal termites or bad driving practices. The glass that came in this car has deep gouges from the belt molding and the both door glass have deep vertical scratches.

Any help on this would be appreciated as vinyl top is installed and I will finish the headliner tomorrow so I want to get this thing sealed up. The back glass is decent with only minor scratches so I ordered a kit to polish it. I am going to contact Year One to get a refund on the remaining glass since it won't be available this year or maybe never.

Please PM if you have anything that might work for me.

Thanks,

John

I still have the green tinted glass from my 68 Charger. There are some pics of them I put on here back in 2018 if you are interested. (1968 Charger tinted glass) Otherwise, another avenue would be reproduced stuff from China. I bought a complete set for my car from Auto City Classic INC in Minnesota. I bought the gray smoked glass from them and it fit very well. Correct thickness and curvature. If you are into date codes though you are out of luck with them. The have the clear and tinted and sell individual or complete sets.

I have a repop tinted driver door glass that I will not use. PM me for details. Joe

Looks like I have the driver door glass thanks to 70gtx440dana, greatly appreciated Joe!

If anyone has the Passenger Quarter Glass from AMD to match the rest of the glass I have, let me know. Thanks, John

I tried to search it but came up empty. I'm interested if you have a nice Passenger quarter glass, no scratches. Date codes are not crucial. The 68 glass for the quarter has no fitment issues with the 69 from everything I've researched but the door glass is different after the early 69 because they added a second hole for the window stop. PM if you have, I tried to PM you but I switched to Chrome and the site isn't working properly anymore. I just need a clean passenger quarter glass at this point, if it has light scratches from cleaning over the years I can probably polish that out but deep scratches are out of the question. I have a new A/C decal so I'm ready to go.

Thanks, John

I don't think there are any scratches that won't rub out without distortion but will have to look again. I remember the left wing glass was the worst because it looked like someone shot it with a BB gun or possibly a rock hit it because it has pretty deep chip. The rest of them should polish up. Anyway, Here are a couple pics of the right quarter glass. Pictures don't always tell the whole story though as you well know.
