Getting ready to finally install the vent windows in my 69 Charger, and do not have the hardware that attaches thru the slot on the the upper front of the vent window assembly. Looks like it may be just a bolt, and a threaded clip that gets installed on the inner section of metal on the door. Anyone confirm, or have a pic of the hardware?

That spot is a bolt, nut should be welded into the door shell. The fork below it is a nut! That said, and trust me, you'll want to put the entire door glass in as an assembly.

No welded nut on the inner metal of the door. The nut on the front lower attachment is ready to go, as well as the small rectangular block and screw on the rear upper point. Have the lower post mount on the bottom of the door, and just need to cut some foam for ant-rattle.

Have seen videos installing the vent window, and door glass as an assembly, and have also seen videos installing the door glass separately by opening the vent window, removing the uppermost screw on the vent window frame, and slightly moving the vertical part of the vent window frame to allow the door glass to be installed.

Okay, just trying to help and also looked inside my damaged door shell and definitely a welded nut. Maybe Charger used a J nut.

If you look in the members restoration section you'll see three stickies at the top, one for my Bee another for my Superbird and another for Justin's GTX. They all show complete details on installing glass and frames.

All 68-70 B-Bodies the vent frame attached the same. I cant remember exactly what my charger looked like. Seems to me there was come unique bracket that was used on one of them.

Parts book. The lower one mounts to a bracket.

Yep, that's your "in and out" adjustment bracket. I still say the upper bolt goes into a welded nut plate. It was even present on my AMD door shell. ..

I know the one more rearward on the flag bracket has the allen headed bolt with I believe a clip. The very bottom one fits into that bracket and the upper should have a weld nut. All the fasteners as I remember had captured washers on the bolts and nuts.
