Anyone no of a reference site for checking rear leaf spring part #no. I just remove my original
leaf springs and going to start restoring them. The part #no stamped on the small last half leaf is 2835 159 along with 13626 and 2659. My car is a 69 coronet 500 convertible with 4 speed. Just want to make sure that the leafs springs match the car. They look like they never were ever taken off.

Cheers,

This is a little hard to read but the 159 springs would be appropriate for a 69 WP27. Here's a copy of a broadcast sheet with the springs circled

The 13626 number looks like a vendor code.

The 2659 looks like a day/year code meaning the 265th day of the year. Are you sure that is a 9 and not an 8? 2659 (September 22, 1969) would be more appropriate for a 70 model year.

Is there a similar code on the other spring?

Mistake it is an 8 not an 9. Having beers and looking at part #no sometimes not good...
Thanks for the help.

Cheers,
