What would be the difficult parts to find in restoring a 69 Coronet R/T? I'm assuming that drivetrain stuff is all available. Same for suspension and most brake stuff. What about body parts, chrome, interior pieces, instrument panel stuff, badging, etc? This question is kind of directed to those that have travelled this path. I'm guessing that there are certain parts that are more or less made out of unobtainium. For example: the bendix dual diaphram brake booster. What else? What about the grill and it's parts or the tail light assemblies? Or are these same parts used on 4 door cars that might be more plentiful?

For body panels call AMD the best parts out there. You should be able to use 4 door grill, taillights.I have a 69 bee and put 4 door parts on it.I dont think your car is much different than mine.

Aren't good rear deck lids kind of hard to come by for those bodys?

The SB tail lights and panel are the same as the Coronet 440 except the Bee tail panel is painted black.

The tail lights and tail panel are a 500 or R/T item only and, from experience, a good tail panel is not easy to find.

Grilles and headlight bezels are pretty easy to find and not that expensive but you may have to apply the correct black out treatment for an R/T.

Which hood do you have? Both the bulge hood and boomerang inserts are hard to find. If you have the Ramcharger hood, the complete and correct air grabber set up is not easy to find.

GOOD original sheet metal is hard to find as there is a lot of demand for it.

Which rims do you have? Correct 69 trim rings for the Chrome five spoke wheels are hard to find.

Seat back medallions aren't easy to find.

The correct disc brake master cylinder is hard to find.

053 radiator and shrouds are out there. They are not as expensive as an 054 but a good radiator is not cheap. The correct shroud is available as a reproduction.

Pads for disc brakes are out there if you look.

The coronet r/t is a potential future project.

I did get on the AMD website and found that most sheetmetal is available except for the front fenders and bumpers.
I saw that the R/T had a 150MPH sweep speedo (if you didn't have the Ralleye Dash). I wonder if the 150MPH sweep speedo is a hard to find item and rarer than a ralleye dash?.
On the brake master, is the one with the lines going toward the fender the one that is hard to get? Is that the correct one?
I did see grilles on the net but looks like the taillights have not been repoped.
How hard are the bulge hoods to find. I see that the ram air hood scoops are available as well as the underhood ram air apparatus-both from BEA. Is the bulge hood or the ram air hood more desirable? The ram air looks better.
What radiator is one with an 055 on it specific to?

69 Coronet R/T parts

150 speedo face is being repopped, not sure just who is doing it, I really thought they could be found on the BEA site, bulge hood or twin scoop can be determined from fender tag, twin scoop will have N96 coded on tag, that will also determine which air cleaner you need to use (the oval one with the N96 is hard to find with the correct 440 base($$), it differs from the more common 383 bee base) I believe the 055 radiator is correct for your car. PM me if I can help you, I got one(rough) of them R/T's too.

I've been looking for the wood grain trim with the R/T badge for over the glove box on a std dash R/T for some time now.
