Is it possible to replace the fuel sending unit without pulling tank? Tank is new but car came with defective new sending unit; gauge read3/4 when full. I've drained the tank, have the car on stands.

Thanks FBBO

No problem at all - just twist it while removing.

Good luck with this. Mine never reads beyond 3/4 - new tank and new unit. Many threads on this. Grounds, ohms, and pixie dust.

Thanks.

The new sender tests correct out of the car. I'm hoping it still does once installed. Now where did I put that Pixie dust?

Easy to just drop the one side and it will come out. If the sender works you can just put a slight bend in the arm so the float will sit higher when full and then reinstall.
