69 Coronet Tail Panel question.

Hey,

I need some advice on the tail panel of my 69 Coronet. I am new to working on these cars, but pretty damned determined to do what I can on my own. I am in the process of pulling out the rusted trunk and can see the crossmember looks ok and so do the frame rails. However, the tailpanel is rusting through in several areas. I dont know if I have the skills to save this panel or would it be best to replace it. Also looking for advice on how to pull it out. Here are some pics.

hi,Bear R.- here.i just seen a post on here yest.by a guy w/ a 74 charger i believe..restored ground up.i think i seen him doing what your talkin bout doing .ifnot he would have the answer.best job i ve ever seen.tons of pics. cant remember which post but its in the paint and body.section..74 charger.?check it out.he,ll tell ya..later Barry
