So I've been driving my Bee since its Rotisserie resto. I have about 400 miles on it and still chasing some Gremlins but nothing major,
fingers crossed.

I bought a reproduction Ram Charger Air box.
See pictures below.

1) Is there any gaskets or bushings which go between the box and the bottom of the painted hood?

2) For some reason it appears as if my Oval/Square air cleaner will not fit the air box correctly, however
I believe my air cleaner might be on backwards.

3) I've ordered the big rubber seal and the long cable for inside the car.

4) The orange box on the floor is what I bought. The engine bay and air cleaner is my car. The Blue hood is what the seller said was a factory Ram Charger hood and air box.

Does anyone have any experience in this application?

Thanks.

I have a `69 hemi bee. your underside ramcharger is for a `70, not a `69. thought yopu would like to know, patti

Looks like you bought the air box for a single 4 barrel. That oval air cleaner needs an oval air box. Send the parts back and buy the (1969) black ramcharger kit for oval air cleaner.

Pretty sure the only difference between 69 and 70 is the color. No differences in the air box. The air cleaner assembly changes for the various carburator options, the box remains the samer. HEMI cars will have a different left piece for clearance.

I believe my air cleaner might be on backwards. Your air cleaner is fine. The box sides overlap the center with the oval seal matching the air cleaner assembly.

3) I've ordered the big rubber seal and the long cable for inside the car. Everything will fit.

4) The orange box on the floor is what I bought. The engine bay and air cleaner is my car. The Blue hood is what the seller said was a factory Ram Charger hood and air box. The box should be black for 69. If they have one, I would exchange it.

A picture is attached of my 69 RT for reference. Hope this helps.

Yes Color is the only difference. they all bolt & rivet on both 1969 and 1970 Coronet hoods! (and) the Hemi boot in both colors also.

There are two different black ramcharger boxes for 69. An early one and a later one. One had two flaps and the other had three. Repops are the later version.

My 70 had foam gaskets between the ram charger and the hood. (3 gaskets)

My 69 roadrunner had foam adhesive backed weatherstrip between the hood and Air Grabber ductwork FYI. Same stuff you can buy at a hardware store.

I sent the orange one back and awaiting a black one. There is still a lot of retrofitting to do with these repops from PG Classics.

do you have a air box for sale I am looking for the center part for mine .

Mine's a 69 and has 1/2" foam seal around all three holes touching the underside of the hood, the one big center and the two side holes under the scoops. I hafta install mine , i'll be taking off the hood and laying it down upside down, then placing the ram unit on it to locate the drilling holes, anyone know what size holes for the screws ?

Wow...now that is impressive, what about the underside, the holes for the rivets and the clip nuts that hold the ramcharger unit to the hood's bracing/frame.

mine came off a 70 rr and i painted it black and put it on my 69 dodge bee hood but it was a oem part .
