Hi, I'm going to be looking at whats supposed to be a 1969 GTX Convertible. From the research that I've done so far, there were only 701 GTX convertibles produced in 1969. So my question is how can I tell if its real or a clone.

Sport Satellite is RP27. These are commonly cloned to GTX since most of trim, grill and dash pieces are already there.

Here is one thats local to me and been resto modded or pro toured

Well it turned out to be the real deal except for the engine which was replaced some 20 years ago. However I didn't buy it as it was really rough for the asking price, and more of a project than I want to take on.

I think thats a real nice one with the white interior and roof, Ill wager if thats all Ma Mopar made, i don't need go look at one.. very nice though!
