Hello all my name is jim and am looking for some help. Me and my father are helping a friend put a 69 gtx back together. The car was purchased in boxes someone started the tear down and then stopped. Now that the car is painted we are putting it back together and have found out that the doors have been changed. The problem we have is there are no holes in the top of the doors for the chrome strip to go into. So I was wondering does anybody have an old door with these holes that they could get me some measurements from. Any info would be helpful. I think this trim is called belt molding. Here are some pics of the trim.
