Having issues with the headlights blinking on and off in my '69 road runner. I replaced the pigtail and the dimmer switch on the floor. I ordered a replacement switch from Rock Auto, but it isn't correct for my car. This car has a chrome, rocker switch. It is not connected to the interior dimmer as it is on the Rock Auto part. Looking online, I only see replacements for '68-'70 Chargers. Doesn't anyone make a replacement switch? Thank you in advance.

Headlight switches have an internal self resetting breaker. This may be the issue.
There are switch rebuilder guys on eBay.
The bulkhead check is good advice.
I would get the high current path off the bulkhead and switch. @Crackedback has a fantastic plug and play relay kit that will increase your headlights beams while taking the high current path off your bulkhead.

I agree with Bill. Relay to take the high current out of the switch.

If you still need a switch, check ebay. Rebuilt units or nos switches.

The charger headlight switch is the same except for a vacuum operated connection and a small arm from the rocker switch that goes to it. Remove those 2 things and put it in. Sound like there might be corrosion causing excessive draw making your current switch open internally. As mentioned above a loose connection or bulkhead issue could cause that.
