My 69 Roadrunner did not come with the fender mounted bullet turn signals. I have always wanted them and have considered drilling and mounting the reproductions. Has anyone out there done this? If so, what is involved as far as wiring, etc.? B-Bodies RULE! Thanks for your help, Curt.

Welcome to B Bodies. I can't help but some one here can.

Curt,

You would have to splice into black/light green wire running to your left turn signal/parking light and splice into the black/tan on the right. Factory fender mounted turn signal indicators in 69' setups do not have a ground wire and rely on the Fender mounted indicator to boby for ground.

That's it, plain and simple, just a one wire connection.

However, I would get the measurement for my holes from an original fender with the holes factory drilled.

If you need the factory location to drill holes my car came with them so let me know if you need anything.

Wow! Thank you everyone for your warm welcome and helpful responses. Thank you Prop Wash for the technical. Meep-Meep, could I get the fender location measurements? Mopar people are the best!

Here you go.

Top of fender both sides. Showing measurement set up. First hole 5" from square, second is about 5 9/16" and the third is just about 6 3/16". Hole furthest from the front is 1/2" from top edge of fender and the other holes are staggered about 1/16" less than the previous one.

The outer most holes are for the studs and the center is for the wire, so you may want to verify the stud spacing on the repo lights.

On my GTX, it came from Los Angeles with the Bullet Turn Signals, and the holes in the fenders are not that far back, they are basically on the corner of the fenders.

Like most things on our cars, close enough was good enough!!

I had a LA built 68 Runner and mine weren't that far back either.

Dear Meep-Meep,

Thanks a million for going through all the trouble to measure, photograph, upload and post. This gives me a great starting point.

My factory fenders are the same as MeepMeeps along with the extra fenders Ive picked up.
