69 Roadrunner - No Parking Lights ONLY

[1969 Roadrunner Y2]

I have an interesting problem with the headlights on the RR. When in the parking lights position, I get full headlight functions (ie: low beams and high beams when using the floor dimmer switch). When in the headlights position, same thing, full function. It's like there are two "headlights" positions and no "parking lights" position on the switch.

Do the switches ever go bad? What would be the best way to test this out? All other electrical (ie: dash lights, signals, tail lights) works really well. I am pretty stumped, but don't want to pop for a new headlight switch just to see if that fixes it.

Any ideas would be appreciated. You guys have been great an your past help has been awesome.

Yes replace it.

Its not hard to test the switch if you have a wiring diagram and a voltmeter. I would do this before buying a new one.
