69 RR A/C question

I am working on a factory a/c system on a 69 Road Runner. In my box of parts there are two aluminum and two plastic sets of side dash vents. When were the aluminum ones used and when were the plastic ones used? There are also plastic center vents with an aluminum bezel that attaches next to the aluminum switch bezel. Is there a plastic version of this bezel?

I was told that the heavier ones were 69 and the light ones 70. This from Daryl Fynch who I bought them from at Spring Fling. Sell the ones you don't use as I paid a princely sum for them.
