I have (4) stock 15X7 rims and dog dish hubcaps.
I would like to buy "redline" tires for the rims.

Two questions......

1) If I want to have an original stock 1969 look... what tire size should I be looking at for front and rear ?

2) If I want a visually nice look and stance ... what size for front and rear tires should I go with based on the 15X7 rims and without any rubbing issues.

Thanks for your help, pictures are welcome

1. Stock'ish would be either a 205 or 215/70-15.

2. Front 215/70-15 , rear 255/70-15. I'm sure people will say you can run 275's. I would personally want an 8" wheel for that.

Are they real Hemi/ 6 pack wheels? Sell them to me and buy some new wheels, lol..

Would 225/70-15 front and 235/70-15 work on 7" rims ? would that fill up the wheel well relativelly well ?

I have 15X7 Steel wheels on my car now.
235/60/15 front.
255/60/15 rear.
Not to big or small with no rubbing issues.

FYI, I had my speedo gauge rebuilt to stock specs a few years ago, with this current setup my speed is off easily 15-20 mph on the street. I will eventually get larger wheels and tires once I re-do the front and rear, going the pro touring route. I really want larger brakes and more responsive handling.

thank you for your response and help, much appreciated.
