69 satellite VR question.

Hi, I am hoping somebody could help me out here. I have a 69 satellite I just purchased. It is 383 with electronic distributor, single field 60 amp alternator and mechanical voltage regulator, MSD 6AL ignition box and a 7 PSI electric fuel pump. Well I was going to change it to a dual field alternator and electronic voltage regulator, to maybe help with the dimming lights until I noticed the VR on the ignition side has a dark blue wire and a blue wire with a white line. I have seen pictures and read many post on how to convert it but none of them have two ignition wires, so I'm kind of stumped. Just FYI, I'm just learning on how an electrical system works so sorry if it's a stupid question.

Ma Mopar always recommended to folks who bought their electronic ignition conversion kits to swap out the mechanical voltage regulator, as electronic ignition needs a constant voltage source to operate optimally.
As a result, they created a "conversion" electronic regulator that utilized pre-'70 wiring, making it a simple deal.
