Hey guys a little help here?

I bought a 1969 coronet super bee a couple of years back. I've started my restoration and am finding that the car was put together with everything but 69 coronet parts. I've gotten to the point of replacing the seat foams and covers for the front buckets and rear bench. In light of the knowledge of the car I bought 69 coronet seat foam and covers, I've been informed by the legendary auto interior technical help that I have 66-67 seat frames. does any one know if the seat foam and covers will still fit?
It would be shame to have to waste money in getting other covers or possibly the "correct" seat frames if there is no noticeable difference.

thanks,
Blake

Long live the Mopar!

I have a set of 67 Charger seats (bucket seats and tracks) that I hope to install in a 1969 Roadrunner. It seems like we are in similar situations. Have you made any progress?

I, too, was told by Legendary Auto Interior Technical Help that the 66-67 seat frames differ from the 68-69 seat frames, and thus, that the 69 seat foam and/or seat covers (or the 67 seat frames and/or tracks) would need modification to work together.

I've been told that the "interchange manual" lists some 66-69 B-bodies as having different same seat frames and tracks when in fact, the seat frames and tracks are identical (see this related post regarding this issue: http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/archive/index.php/t-5647.html.

Can anyone help Bzizzi and I out regarding this matter?
