69 Superbee - Manual Choke cable

I'm pretty certain my Superbee didn't come with a manual choke. Well,,, actually I'm not sure. BUT - my carb is a manual choke carb and I want to put a choke cable on it.
1)Has anyone ever used an aftermarket cable and is there a bracket it needs?
2) It mounts on passenger side it appears?

What carb is on it? It should have a Carter AVS. I know the electric choke is for an AFB but I was able to modify mine for my AVS.

I have an edelbrock manual choke carb. I'm trying to avoid putting a 3rd carb on it.

My Bee had a manual choke installed when I bought it. One of the first things I did was bought and installed the electric choke kit from Edelbrock. Having that cable under the dash just ain't right.

The factory never installed a manual choke on a 383HP. So you are totally free in your mounting decisions - or install a correct choke. ;-)

You can only install a correct choke if you have the correct heads. If you have after market heads with no heat cross over, the choke will never do its job.

It's a little finicky but certainly do-able.
