70’s truck cab repair

Has anyone replaced the inside ceiling/roof panel on a regular cab 78 dodge truck?
There is a seam at the back and the front meets the windshield.
Are the spot welds over the doors the main thing attaching that piece?

I havnt done it yet to my 77 but my plan was to drill out the spotwelds above the doors and windshield, then cut on the vertical small surface just above the seam above back window and seam on the sides behind the doors and remove the outside roof. Then weld same roof back on when the underside is repaired. Im going to leave the inside ceiling of cab in place. Not sure how to do the inside only.
