Can anyone tell me the length of the a/c control cable for my 70 Coronet? Or does anyone know where I can buy one? I see Dante’s has them, but not for a/c cars.
The one I have is used and about 32.5" long. Has the adjuster for fine tuning. It is from a 68 Charger but my parts book mentions Ply, Dodge & Chrysler. Controls the water valve that goes thru the firewall. I know in 70 they added the vacuum canister to the water valve under the hood so I'm not sure if they used the same cable under the dash. This one is PN 2809-041. Been saving it for my car but probably won't ever need it since mine is working fine. I have it marked 68-70 B body with air but if you have a 70 parts book, it would pay to verify it's the correct PN. I will ship it for $60.00 but you can probably make your own for less.
does anyone happen to have a pic of where it goes to the temp control valve on the firewall. i'm looking in my manual where to hook this up but CANNOT locate it....
