Hi guys. Does anyone know how to tell if a torque shaft is original or a repop? The ones I'm looking at have the numbers 92M on one and S2K on the other. The shaft measures 9" ( no dirty comments RC, please. LOL).
The original would be the S2K one. Also on a 70 it would depend on which bell housing you are using as to which shaft you need. A cast bell takes a different one than the aluminum bell. The offset lever on the torque shaft for the cast one is 1 1/4 inches in from the end of the tube and the aluminum one is 3/4 inches in from the end
