70 challenger recognised in history

Why is that Challenger getting SO much coverage lately? It is everywhere, even YellowBullet. Its as if there is a targeted PR campaign for it.

No offense to the e body guys, but I've never liked the Challenger; then or now. Line that body up against a similar era b body and you're telling me that the challenger gets picked? To each their own i guess...

No.
If you've paid any attention to any of the interviews with the owner, that car will never be for sale - and
in fact, is slated for the third generation son to have it when he's gone.
Some cars are like that, born into one family - forever.
In this particular case and knowing the story, I believe it.

The attention comes from the fact it is a musclecar that actually has been inducted into the
National Historic Vehicle Registry (Historic Vehicle Association), something that usually only happens
to high-dollar classic and antique (rare!) cars - and is therefore permanently added to the archives of
the Library of Congress.
That's pretty heady stuff for a car from our particular "wing" of the hobby.
That organization obviously has quite the public relations department (check out the roster of corporate
partners they have!) and of course, Hagerty's media arm did the amazing job on the video documentary
for them, too.
For my money, Hagerty has one of the best, if not THE best, media production departments in the business.
