has anyone swapped in an aftermarket seats for the bench seat..

I tried the Corbeau sport seats with their brackets and seat ended up sitting too high...

But I don't want to go through the same...

Does anyone know of a bucket seat swap that works .. I would like a seat that holds me in and is supportive and has a generous width for comfort and the correct seat height...

Any experience with success???

I have the Scat seats and brackets in my 68 charger. The height is adjustable.

I have the Elite 1100 ProCar/Scat seats & seat brackets
the brackets have an adjustment to them

Mine I chose, they are a lower profile seat design,
with adj. backs & headrests, I have them in my 68 RR,
I have a taller torso so I wanted a lower profile seat design...

you will need to drill the inner {near the tunnel} holes on both sides,
the OE bench seat cars don't have them pre-drilled
easy deal, all bolt in perfect fit too...

The adjustment is in the front {& rear ?} IIRC
of the bracket that attach the sliders to the lower seat brackets
