70 GTX dash wiring question

I have installed a brand new year one dash wiring harness and new gauges in my Rally gauge pack. Everything seems to work fine except the right turn signal dash light lights up when I turn on the lights. It however still blinks when I turn on the right blinker and shuts off when I turn off the lights. I don't know what relationship the right blinker light has with the light switch? Anyone want to take a guess?

Got it figured out tonight. Had a bad ground on the front signal light. Had to solder the lamp to the housing so it would ground to the frame. Works great now!
