70 n96 carb question

I need some help.... can anyone tell me what carbs will work on a 70 n96 440 roadrunner? Stock manifold is being used and I have the 440 base plate. I need something the same height and diameter as the avs 4739. Manual transmission. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a read through this thread I created a while back Dane.
If you are using the 440 baseplate, most carbs should fit. I cut down a 383 baseplate to get enough clearance.

A Holley 750 vac. secondary will fit on a stock manifold if you clerance it just a tiny bit. If I remember correctly, I had to grind down maybe 1/8" on some part of the carb's throttle shaft(s) outside the carburetor and take another 1/8" off the side of the intake near the carburetor flange. It took me about 15 min. to do and you'd never see it unless you looked very, very close.
