Went to replace the fuel pump on my '70 GTX 440/6. This forum suggested the Carter M4845, which is available from Year One for $70. Went to my local parts house and ordered one. The parts fellow could not locate a Carter M4845, so he ordered a Spectra pump for $35.

Picked up the Spectra and it is visually identical to the Carter one, except the inlet is 3/8, does NOT require the adapter. The Carter's inlet is 5/16 and required the adapter.

I took some photos of the pumps.
