Hello. I'm currently working on my father in laws (maybe mine one day Road Runner. My question is with a code V88 (transverse stripes delete) what does that actually entail? Hood, dust trail, and deck lid deleted? Thanks

It means the deck lid tape stripe was deleted, leaving only the standing bird and the "road runner" chrome emblems. No hood stripe, No dust trail, only running birds at leading edge of front fenders unless coded seperately.
