Came aware of a 70 roadrunner original 383 car with the n96 air grabber hood. Car is dissasembled body in good shape hardly no rust small dents. Alot of new parts. Now has a 440 fresh from machine shop. Balanced and blueprinted all new parts waiting for assembly all the way from carb to pan. Also its a 4 speed pistol grip car. Guy is wanting 7500. Sound like a good deal? Not really in the market for another roadrunner but figured id look into it. Try to get a pic up. Thanks guys

No rust, good motor, etc.Yes thats a great price, I would be all over it if it was in my neck of the woods :thumbsup:good luck with that , look forward th the pics that is the only way to be able to say wiw

That quarter looks a little weird from this angle.

looks like

Its been setting for a while, again hard to tell to much from this pic, to many unanswered questions how is the trunk, quarters, floor boards, any missing parts or pieces? glass there, chrome /bumbers etc? looks straight but could be deceiving in todays market I would probaly offer 5000 and go from there to your comfort price, could be worth 7000 but you need to plan on spending some cash and a lot of time to get everything done at this point. best wishes CD:tied up:

All glass is there, bumpers rechromed, floor pans are all good, and trunk pan needs to be replaced. No other rust that i could notice. The guy has had this car since 2000 he bought it for 8000 got it home and took it for a drive. The brakes locked up on him and came close to wrecking so he decided to redo the brakes. One thing led to another and he started dissassembling the whole car. At some point he finally realized he was over his head and the brother in law that was supposed to help him couldnt due to health. So that leads to where it is now. Hes got a ton of new parts from year one and summit. Alot of interior pieces and everything to put the engine together. He even showed me the new lense for the pistol grip. haha

He started asking 13,000 for it hes down to 7500 so maybe he will go more or maybe someone else will realize its a deal and grab it. I dunno I got a 73 roadrunner and a 68 Charger that im trying to do now. So dont really need it but dont want to be kicking myself in the *** later that i didnt if you know what i mean. haha

Might be worth it IF he has all the parts like trim stuff to put it back together... If not, I'd probably pass as that stuff will nickle and dime you to death!

yea all the trim is their all the hardware is seperated and organized all dash componets too down to the tic toc tac

deal sounds good. Now, can you put it back together. Hopefully the guy bagged and tagged everything.

well he dropped his price down to $5000. dont know if i can pass it up lol damn i dont need another project right now haha

yea jus trying to decide if its worth keeping the 68 charger from getting done. thats 5000 dollars i wont have for it. lol

...So did you get it? These are getting hard to find, being a 1 year only body style.

It looks from the pic you posted like a 26" core support without a/c... This means AXLE PACKAGE! With a 4speed and N96, you really should jump on it! Especially for 5K............just sayin'....

Just thought id update this an let those who posted know i decided to jump on it. Sitting at my shop now:)
