70 rr clone

hello,im working on my first project a 70 sat cloni ng it to a rr . it was near death with a lot of riveted sheet metal and bondo . im hoping for advise in time to come in several areas.

I HAVE a VERY GOOD 383 THATS DATE 70 FROM A 71 FURY III , IVE BEEN GATHERING PARTS FOR A YEAR. AT FIRST I WAS THINKING ORIGINAL B5 BLUE AND THEN A SILVER.MAINLY I JUST WANT A NICE RUST FREE MINIMAL MUD CAR TO DRIVE ON NICE DAYS.

New metal is great , its taken a year to find good front fenders seeing how mine were trash,i just went to florida to get a good set.i was worried because they dont make repros for 70s.i didnt have seats either , a few more little things and some new stuff and i will be finised gathering wich has been a lot of fun.ive met some great people

saw these over on the 'parts:


I have a pair of 70 b-body seats. They are complete with hinge covers and nice seat tracks. Foam is still nice I would not replace it. One stud needs to be fixed. Seat backs are still pretty nice also with minimal scratches. $500.00. prefer not to ship. I am 30 minutes southeast of chicago. (708) 612-0774 JOE. [email protected]

this is the first qtrs, floors, trunk i ever done ,qtrs are just screwed on for now. anything i should know before i go further.im able to do regular mechanics but never done body work,never been inside an engine.
