I have a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner that I am consider selling.
OK, Let me just start off by being honest up front. I am not sure if I am ready to sell this yet. I did have an offer of $38,000 recently and I turned it down. I'm guessing if I really wanted to sell it, I would have taken that offer. So why post this on B-Bodies Only you ask? For one thing, it is free, and another, I guess to see what kind of offers I get to include any type of trades. I've already had a hand full of offers, but nothing that interested me. A speed boat, a Duster, a custom H.D., but mostly Chevys. Very nice ones at that, but they were just not for me.
I'd consider trading for a '70 or a '71 Challenger, has to be a big block car and with the ralley dash, or a '71 Cuda. Yeah, I know, dream on, right? lol I am also really digging the 1970 Chrysler 300's and the 1970 Sport Fury's. Who knows what will catch my attention. The most I can say is no thanx.
The engine is a 13:1 528 (stroked 440). Ported Victor heads by Hughes Engines. .608 lift 263/270 @ .050" duration hydraulic roller. Aluminum roller rockers. Dyno'ed at 675 hp & 690 lbs/ft torque at the crank. 553 hp /545 torque at the wheels. Has under 800 street miles on it, and it runs on e-85.
727 Torqueflite w/new Coan torque converter.
8 ¾ with 3:23 posi. Center section is a -489 unit that was freshened up with a new pos. unit crush sleeve, seal and large 1350 yoke. Drive shaft is also new.
New three inch TTI exhaust with x pipe & ceramic coated 2 inch primary headers.
New fuel system: Tank, ½ stainless steal fuel line, Aeromotive fuel pump/filters, QuickFuel E-85 850 double pumper.
New Wizard Aluminum radiator w/twin electric fans mounted to custom aluminum shroud.
New interior (Seats, carpet, headliner, seat belts, door panels, steering column, B&M Magnum Grip Pro Stick Shifter).
New RMS Alter-K-tion front end w/Wilwood Disc brakes, master cylinder and hydro-boost.
Some very miner rust repair and paint last year.
New slots and tires. 235/70r15 front, 275/60r15 rear BFG T/A radials.
New rear lowering springs and double adjustable shocks.
Asking $46,000.
All in all, I've got almost 49k w/receipts into this car. That is why I have it advertised for that price.
