70rr owner history search

I would like to know the owner history of my 70rr.im told it spent most of its life in the bristol tn,blountville tn,bristol va AREA. which is where i bought it back in august.i have a copy of the title of the 3rd owner up from me in 92 ,and the title number before him.but i have hit a stone wall.the state of tn says records from that far back have been destroyed.anyone know a person or company that will do a search. is there no factory records? could anyone point me in the right direction.thanx in advance.my car is a lynch rd car.RM21N0A125016.tor-red or orange non vinyl top,air grabber.383 4 spd. bench.maybe someone from the tri-cities area of tn/va will be famliar with this car.i understand the 32 yr old owner of my car died in a boating accident around 2000 near bristol tn

Sorry I can't help you on the owner history, but noticed our cars were likely built on the same day. My VIN is RM21N0A125039, and is essentially the same car.

Your State DMV might be able to help.

No Fender tag on my car either Tramo. Sorry. And I haven't had a chance to look for any other paperwork. I just got the car.
