Hi, Hope someone can help. I am looking for photos or diagrams of a 71 SE trunk compartment. Where do the cardboard panels go? how is the jack mounted? In know it goes through the brackets (i think) but how does it get secured?

you're right, the jack goes thru the brackets and i think there is a J-hook that feeds up thru the spare tire then the jack base slides over that upside down and is secured with a wing nut that is about 3-4 inches long. Are you talking about the cardboard that goes along the inside of the trunk walls?
