71-72 B-body hood

Would someone measure the overall dimensions of the 71-72 high performance (non airgrabber) hood and let me know. A guy in Hawaii wants the hood ($575), but I don't have physical access to it right now and need it to get a shipping cost from New Jersey to Hawaii. I got one price from a shipper and says it will cost $1,102 and would like to try another shipper. I think that is excessive. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks.

Use BAX Global, but make sure you tell them you're shipping from a BUSINESS address. I've shipped to japan and Germany with them. Shipped an A-12 hood to Berlin and it was less than what they quoted you.
