Hey. I was thinking of replacing my front buckets with a set out of a late model vehicle but have also seen some really nice over the seat covers on the web. Unfortunately finding direct fit for 72 B-body is not possible. Anyone using a nice looking seat cover? Pic would be appreciated.

Second question is ....what aftermarket seats are you using out of newer vehicles?
Thinking of finding one with ventilated/cooling for those hot summer days.
Some of the Challengers, Fords (Mustang, Fusion), etc seem like they would look right but concerned about the height.

Thanks

These are in an omni

FWD Daytona seats were OEM Recaro (or at least licensed) IIRC.

I like those. Only issue is finding the older buckets without rips, mold, smells, etc is difficult. Plus most are cloth. If I will need to recover I might as well buy new aftermarket from Sum or Jeg, etc. Also...not a deal breaker but would like something post 2011 so possible to find ventilated/cooled seats. May have to remove the headrest so flat seat top needed. Most are notched.

My suggestion is if you want heated/air conditioned seats go drive a newer car. You could run into some issues with adding heated seat. First, is it going to be a strain to your current alternator ? You'll have to add switched and a relay system, can you do wiring ? Cooled seats, again are you getting the fan only style which will require wiring and relays or are you looking at the ones that use the refrigerant ? That'll be a while other issue. Just things to thing about.

My wife has heated/cooled seats in her Jeep GC and they really work great but too large for car. I really like the cool function. Don't need heat with my black interior and fair weather use. I haven't researched the power portion yet until I find something that will fit but I understand the need for relays and wiring upgrades. Wasn't aware of the refrigerant type but definitely won't be using those. Thanks.
