This hood is extremely clean rust wise with only very minor surface rust and paint checking on the underside. The worst is pictured. All the corners are sharp and undamaged and the front peak is also straight. It does have one dent on the front driver's edge, a larger shallow dent that was filled in the center of the bulge and a couple other small dings that were filled at some point. A word about the pictures, I chemically stripped the hood to find damage or filler under the 3 layers of paint that looked like they were rolled on (the ugly picture with different colors). The spots are places that the first layer of paint didn't come off, (it was gold/brown covered by red then orange). It is not surface rust. It currently has a token coat of primer. The hood is not ready for paint and will need blocked to finish taking it down to bare metal and will need the filler worked, or I think a good hand could fix the dent without putty. All said, the hood is a relatively easy fix for a DIY with no rust issues. I found one with the insert hole, so I won't be using this at this time. Shipping details can be worked out from 62442. Asking $800

Is the hood still available? Do you have pictures of the area where the hood bolts to the hood hinges? Are you willing to crate and ship? I am in north central Minnesota.
Thanks

Crating and shipping are not an issue. Crating is free. Shipping will be the Buyer's responsibility, but I can drop it off at a local terminal as long as its within 40 miles or so. I have used YRC before as they have a terminal near me. I can get the pics tomorrow. Hinge area is solid as is the rest of the hood. The pictures actual make it look much worse than it is.

Thanks. Do you have a Fastenal outlet near you? I have had good luck shipping with them and good pricing. I am not sure if a hood would be too large for them. I will find out.
Thanks
