Can't wait to hear some feedback on fit and finish!

I just got the email a little bit ago. they may be cheaper directly from AMD. I am very curious myself on the fit and extra work it may take to be nice.

It is kind of humorous that the Charger PB hood was reproduced with 71 style cowl vents.
A hood that never existed, was reproduced!

that is interesting, I wonder what the reason was for that. this hood would technically be wrong for all applications unless you fabbed all your own air grabber or insert retaining flanges , or welded in the later split cowl vents

Why is this hood incorrect for 71? I've seen quite a few with continuous louvers all the way across?

Whoops never mind. .forgot there wasn't one without a hole in the center in 71

as far as I know, you couldn't get just the bulge, it was either with an air grabber or the fiberglass insert with engine call outs.

The bulge hood that I have (73 IIRC) does NOT have a center ridge in front of the bulge.

Interestingly, the 1/18 scale 71 Chargers do have this.

Did they copy that from a model?

My 71 R/T 440 4bbl had the "louvers" in the hood center cutout like this:

damn great eye , eye didn't even notice that. another detail that appears to be an oversight.
