Hi guys.
Decided to sell my 71 Charger, as I need the cash for other life stuff. Located in San Jose, CA. registered through Feb 2016, drives like a beauty, sounds like a beast.
Base model, 318/904. I just finished rebuilding and upgrading both the engine and trans, and they are great. std bore and stroke, KB167 pistons, Comp XE-268H Cam, 901-16 valve springs. all new bearings throughout. "302" casting heads. Eddy performer intake and 1405 (600cfm) carb. Summit headers to dual Flowmaster 40's, dumped before the axle. B&M Floor shifter, TCI shift kit, all new steels/frictions/clutch bands in the trans. I removed all of the A/C stuff from the engine bay, left the compressor and all of the parts that are inside the firewall. I have all parts still. I have any part I have removed from the car, including original heads, intake, carb, etc.
Engine is numbers-matching original. Transmission, I cannot find a vin stamp on it, so I can't say for sure.
exterior is solid, unrestored. No rust, no replaced panels, original paint. Has dents/dings, but nothing major. Interior is nice and complete, but does have separated seams/tears in the seats, and a cracked foam dash pad. previous owner removed the vinyl top and half-*** primered the roof and trunk lid. NO rust in the floor pans or trunk. They are totally solid, and really no rust anywhere that I can find. This was a Nevada car, and it shows.
She's a driver. Runs great, tons of power, shifts nice, looks great for her age.
I'm in the car for between $10-12k after the cost of all the rebuild/upgrade parts, including purchasing the car. I did all the work myself (professional mechanic), so my cost does not reflect the dozens and dozens of hours I have in this car. I have receipts for all the new parts.
I really just need cash so I can handle some other stuff.
Asking $12k negotiable. She's ready to drive, or ready to customize. Your call.
I will also consider trades for your driveable projects, as long as $3-5k cash comes my way too.
