Is there any resource to find out how many of or the percentage of 71 GTX’s that were painted this color?

Exactly, no. Most guides assume that X number of known examples extrapolates to a certain percentage of a given color.

Hey Greg, I have a real nice rechromed rear bumper if you might know somebody. I'm near Cleveland Oh. 44146 . Thanks

I found an EL5 71 GTX 440 4 speed dana car for my friend years ago in the local auto trader magazine. He made a 71 Superbird out of it.

I’ve never seen that chart before. Thanks for posting. I don’t see Bahama Yellow listed on there at all though?

I'm not sure if a break down by model exists.

EL5 on the chart would be ~ 3.8%
So about 3.8% of ALL R* cars sold in the US for model year 1971 were EL5. The actual percentage of RS cars that were painted Bahama Yellow could have been higher. I could have been lower.

That's poor math and not a great way to do it.

Not all are guesses.

Some breakouts are known through factory info via the Options and Accessories reports.

Well, at any rate, I guess it is safe to assume it was not one of the more highly produced colors?
