I have a car with all the V code VIN's in their right place and including broadcast sheet and original window sticker, warranty form, etc. A very interesting picture is of the original owner. Note the fender decal.

Before my brand new ownership, it was restored. About 10 plus years ago. So I may be answering my own question.

Did the 6 pack cars have the 440-6 if it were a V code car? Or is it possible they just had the 440 decal? Mistake? -6 pulled off?

Also, anyone know the code to those hubcaps? I think they look like hubcaps. Doesn't look like wheels.

I recall seeing the 440+6 fender decal in the dealer parts catalog back around 1975. I could be wrong since that is ancient history.

Those wheel covers were used on Satellites. They came on the RH23G1G my Dad bought new (dealer demo) and I bought it from him a few years later. Mine looked like this one. Smooth. I don't know the code.

V code with air grabber. You really must show us more pictures!

Another interesting note is that the car was built to order for export. Was going to go to Chile! Guy was in the armed forces, got his green card and decided to stay after his service! I will put up more pics when the car gets here in next week or so ....I hope! Like to post my own, plus all the recent ones are on my phone. Same with videos, plus we were doing a lot of face time. but here are a few pics from 11 years ago when the car was at RK. The owner I'm getting it from put about 3K on it since that time.

I'll have to look the broadcast sheet over. Obviously in the pics, it has those covers. Maybe he was planning on putting mags or something on it. A big project for me will be to try and contact that family. I do know the original owner has passed though, so it's got to be a very sensitive approach.
