'71 road runner 383 Factory Valve Cover Fasteners?

Please help - in the process of replacing leaky valve cover gaskets I discovered that 8 of 12 bolts appear to be correct OEM w/ captive washer but 4 were different type (not correct no captive washer and heads different hardware store). Then I started to research and found a kit on e-bay that has 8 bolts w/ captive washers + 4 studs + 4 nuts w/ captive washer. What is correct from the factory, All bolts OR bots + studs w/ nuts?

OE would be a stud at each end of the head so they could drop the cover in place quickly, lined up, and then add the 4 bolts and 2 nuts.
