71 Roadrunner, deleting vinyl top and windshield trim questions

Hi, i have a 71 Roadrunner that we are getting ready to paint, we have deleted the factory full vinyl roof and wanted to know if the trim clips for the front windshield and rear glass are different for a vinyl top car vs a non-vinyl top car or will any changes to the way the trim height will sit due to the fact we are not putting a vinyl roof back on, basically what am I needing to do to make the original trim sit correct since we'renot going back to a vinyl top. Appreciate any help or guidance.

My experience with my '71 charger is that the glass clips are the same. However, the roof drip rail molding may be different due to the change in thickness because of the vinyl top being folded over the rail (or not). May have to consult the assembly manual.
