71 Sat throttle cable

I feel dumb,asking how to remove the throttle cable on my 71 Satellite.Hand A Bodies for years and it was simple a small u shape clip.So how to please.

I believe it's squeeze the tabs together & push it towards firewall.

Your right,i just pulled the small wire out and pushed it out,thanks for the help.

As long as we're talking about this, is there a different cable for a 4bbl vs. 2bbl ?

For me it was easier and less expensive to use aftermarket parts rather than stock. Car was missing all the parts and using non-stock carb and manifold.

Using Lokar bracket and kickdown set up with summit throttle cable to adapt Demon carb on Edelbrock Performer on 440.

All I KNOW there are 2 different ones with A bodies.
