Did a quick little mock-up. First time seeing it with the new fenders in place. Unfortunately, Its my weekend to work and I didn't even get a chance to clean off the years of dust.

This was the picture that started it all. By the time I saw this car on the internet while searching for a project, it had already been sold. So when I found my Satellite on Craigslist here in the Cities, I jumped on it even though more than 1/3 of the car was missing. I have a fiberglass 6 pack hood already. I'm going with the original F7 green and a Matte Black hood. Not sure if i am going to go with a black half vinyl roof or hard top... Still leaning towards having mine mini-tubbed.

Looks like a very nice body on that one!!! What color are you going with? That would look super wicked black with a matte black RR strobe stripe!!!!

Hey Roadrunnerman, Sorry it has taken so long to get back to this thread. I checked out your project and all I can say is WOW! My skills are pretty limited and it would be great to have some help available, or to just BS sometime. The 69 Roadrunner is THE Rodrunner to have in my book. Glad you are saving yours.

Alas, home improvement projects have been consuming my time and I am going to have to get a snowblower before buying an air Compressor. PM me sometime if your going to be around. I look forward to seeing your progress as well.

nice toy

will do on sending you a PM,will put my phone number in there also.I would rather spend the day helping another member on their project as to sit around the truck terminal all day. our shop is located in the area of i-35 and 280.

Soooo... Found a Coronet drag car I would like to buy, but would have to sell this car, or my Harley. Decisions, decisions....

Well, the decision was made for me. The Coronet has been sold...and to tell the truth I don't think I could have parted with the "Green Clunker" (as my wife has started to affectionately call this car) anyway.

But the good that came from listing on this site is that one of the previous owners is a member and I found this picture!

Sorry man I totally forgot about this. I bought this car with 11 others in 1999 from a local family after the father died in a car wreck. He had around 40-50 Mopars. Thats when I really started to like the 71/2B's mainly the Plymouths. My 71 SSP was another one of the cars. He had taken both cars pretty much completely apart. Took me a couple days of digging through sheds to find what I did. I keep the green car for about 3 years. When I sold it the orignal fenders were still on it along with the hood. It also had a 71 440 and 727 out of a C body that I set in it. Wish I'd kept it. Real clean project and a cool car. Road Runner drive train with a GTX ,almost, trim. Heres more pics.
