Looks good. I've been looking for a passenger fender for my 72. Where you find yours

Looks great! nothing like a father/son project (I hope that some of the problems didn't result in him picking up too much off color vocabulary). One of the best compliments I received as a father was ... "thanks dad for giving us a mechanical background". This came after the oldest one's starter broke in a parking lot while he was away at school. He got it changed and was on his way in about a half hour. The kid now has "Dr." in front of his name.

That's my favorite 4 dr body style...brings back memories of 70s TV cop shows and looks waay cooler than the boxy LTDs that Barnaby Jones used to wheel around in.

Question: How do the late model Charger steelies fit? Any spacers or bolt pattern wizardry going on there? They're 17"s correct?

The rims are 5x4.5 just like the original rims, no spacers, no slack...there is enough room to take out 1 leaf from the rear springs & lower the front...torsion bar lowering =caster concern ...change control arms..the guy in Japan was a lot of help, read this article (search bing) [h=1]1972 Dodge Coronet - No Gaijin Car craft magazine[/h]

Wow, that sure turned out great! It's good to see these cars getting some kind of interest in them. I hope mine comes out that nice when i'm done. You two should bring it to the Nats this year and cruise it at Heath.
