Cool look forward to seeing your progress! Welcome to the site! I am kinda partial to the 71-72's

Looks like a good starting point. Is that, F7? Green.

Any body be able to tell me what type of rear end is in this car just by looking at it

Good luck with your project, i to really like the body style on these early 70's Charger's. There is a few guys here with Chargers that can tell you about the rear end in it im sure, but you may want to post a picture of it here.. If you have a Auto-Zone parts store around where your at you might want to pick up a Haynes Manuel for your car, there's all kinds of information in them that would be of help... Again, good luck, i hope you'll keep us posted on your progress..

Thanks i will take some more pics and post them, as for the color im not positive if its f7 green its definatly not the original color it was a much darker green closer to brown

Looks like it has a 318 so the rear is likely an 8 1/4. Does it have a 10 bolt cover? If it has a welded carrier with a front drop out pumpkin then it would be a 8 3/4.

lol thanks its and 81/4 if i was thinking in the first place i would have compared it to my scamp that definatly has an 8 3/4

Looks like a decent starting place. What's the deal with the electrical outlet next to the passengers side headlights?

electrical outlet

here in alaska during the winter time we have to have block heaters, Transmission heaters and a battery blanket when it hits -20 vehicles will not start lol this is definatly a vehicle that i dont plan to drive this winter or any winter. but there are a few crazy people that do hell there is a guy in my town that has two harley bikes outfitted with skis and i have seen him riding at -50 lol

short parts list

here is a starters list i racked off the top of my head if any one has and is willing to part with i would be more than happy to make a deal thanks PM me
