Gear change without a speedo gear change can fool you. Do you know this car or owner?

Nope you tube found video. But my 67 belvy with a 318 and 323 gears would do that.

When my 72 was new, with 318/904 and 2.71 gears, my dad had it up to 135 and still climbing, but it got really scary when it felt like it was floating. When I got it with 71000 miles on it, it would still turn 60 in 1st gear and 110 in 2nd. I never tried to top it out.
