72 Road Runner Grille Install-Process

I have to finish putting my clone together. It was a Sebring Plus, now b5 RR Clone.

How do I start with installing the grille?
Do the brackets attach to the bumper and go from there?

Car has headlights and buckets in it and that's it.

I'm pretty sure when I did mine, I attached the brackets first, then each grille section, but it's been a long time, so I might be wrong.

Assemble the bumper off the car, including the brackets. Then, 2 of you install the bumper on the car by bolting the brackets to the unibody siderail. (Tape all front edges on the car beforehand). Adjust bumper & tighten the bolts completely.

If the bumper is already on with the brackets installed. The mesh screen is first then the center grille section must go in as the headlight bezels notch over the center. Then the headlamp shields, then the headlamp buckets and your done.

The grille has three plastic pieces. A LH Headlamp bezel, A RH Headlamp bezel and the Grille center.

You are refuring to the filler between the headlamp bezels, bumper and screen?

Yes that is the grille center....
Here is an nos one I have so you know what I am talking about...You can see where the headlamp bezels clip into it along the bottom..

Any Concensus on Correct Color? Mine seems to have been repainted dark argent. Car is B5.

Am not sure of the correct color but they were all the same regardless of body color.
