My Dad always told me that this was a super track pack car. 1 of 79 built in 72. How do I go verify this ? I'm thinking of selling and just want to advertise it correctly.

Never say never with Ma Mopar

Not so sure the Super Track Pak was available in ’72, in previous years a factory Dana with 4.10s would have made it a Super. Not listed as an option for '72, A33 is the sales code for the Track Pak (would include a 3.54 Dana).
Do you have a build sheet, would be coded there.

No build sheet. I remember he pretty much took the car apart looking for it back in the 80's

I don'r see the rear axle option on the tag. Do you have a build sheet. It looks like it should be a D56 option.

just looked at the tag on diff. and it does say 3.54 . I guess he was wrong on that.

R is Windsor, right?
Did they put the axle code on their tags?
I know St. Louis "G" did.
I myself have never seen a Super Track Pack for 72

I'm positive we can't rely on published "sales brochures" & much of the generally available documents, especially with low production vehicles. My favorite example is the '71 Dodge sales brochure for Challenger's which depicted the '71 T/A. OOOPs
I'm sure there was many things out the door that were not supposed to be available. I'd tend to believe the axle tag, check if the installed gears are 4.10 or 3.54. Gears got swapped by either the owner or dealer.

If it was a factory 440 4-speed it would have had the Dana. Go to the 10:25 mark.

There was a few brief shots of the blue 72 440 4-speed Roadrunner GTX next to the red 73 Roadrunner GTX. I picked up a blue 72 440 auto Roadrunner GTX from Larry about 5 years ago.

Without a build sheet all is hear say. Fender tags are easily replaced and can be purchased to say anything someone wants them to say.

Super Trak Pack not available in 72.

Not sure where the production numbers come from. White book shows 219 440 four speeds built for sale in the US.

I have conflicting info on whether Windsor coded A33 on the tag or not. I have one example of an early car with A33 and two late tags without A33. The first could be a bad remake but I’m not sure.

What was the super track pack? All that came up on a web search was new stuff.

I thought all of the 219 440 4 speeds for 72 had the Dana 3:54. However I am curious if I have the A33 option on my fender tag...
